Scopus Solar is a proposed 200-megawatt solar and 200-megawatt Battery Energy Storage System (BESS) project in Bollinger County, Missouri. Set to become operational in 2025, this project will harness the sun’s natural energy across 2,000 acres of leased private land that will deliver clean energy to the electrical grid. Scopus Solar will benefit Bollinger County taxpayers, landowners, farmers, schools, and workers by creating new sources of long-term revenue for the local community.

Scopus Solar is estimated to bring at least $10 million dollars in new tax revenue to the local community over the life of the project. This new source of revenue can support the most essential elements of the community, including schools, infrastructure, and local government.
